The mysterious atmosphere of dense pine forest is vividly captured by Kate Sherman in this evocative collection.
Kate Sherman lives and works in Ditchling, Sussex. She bases her paintings on her own photographs, which are sometimes taken from a moving vehicle. She explores the nature of memory, and aims to provoke recognition in the viewer.
In 2018, one of Kate's paintings was selected for the Royal Academy's 250th Anniversary Summer Show, curated by Grayson Perry.
