Reuben Colley's name is synonymous with the industrial landscape of the UK. After immersing himself in these dramatic urban landscapes, with shadowy subways and looming concrete pillars, Reuben Colley finds that the city can become a bit claustrophobic. To remedy this and to regain a sense of perspective he makes regular trips to the western coast of Cornwall. The fresh sea air and dramatic natural backdrop is the perfect tonic to cleanse the soul.
This wonderful collection of small detailed coastal drawings follow on from the sold out series '32 Drawings' which featured 32 original graphite drawings of Birmingham.
This collection is currently available to view in the gallery alongside the series 'Coast Paintings'
