Horace Panter's unmissable new collection 'American Urban' opens on 18 July 2017 at Reuben Colley Fine Art.
Horace Panter draws inspiration from American popular culture. In these brand new paintings, depicting roadside diners, stores and bars, he distills each subject down to its essentials, paring away distracting detail. The intense colours and sharp outlines powerfully evoke the harsh sunlight of an American summer.
About Horace Panter
Alongside his career as a professional artist, Horace Panter is the bassist for the iconic British band, The Specials. During the band’s many American tours, Horace has grasped the opportunity to spend time in some of the USA’s finest art galleries, immersing himself in American pop art.
